We are all different streams going to the same place

Why do we hold on so tight to a future with infinite possibilities?
When we can't predict how a grand maple tree's leaves will fall
Or how bright the sun will set

Rivers are creeks are streams
Go with the flow
It's the most frictionless thing you'll ever do

All rivers start with a drop
Stream
Creek
DAM

The way will not always be smooth
Rocks will bump and bruise

As your perspective widens and deepens
Life slows
As it narrows and shallows
Things speed up
And we might lose control

Be sure to have a few kind soles
on the banks to support your path
and learn how to swim for
Even when your LIFE
Raft
Is lost
The world still needs you.
The ocean is calling you.
Let the River RUN.
